Weinan Weihe Grand Bridge: This bridge connects Zhengzhou and Xi’an the provincial capitals of Henan and Shaanxi respectively, in China. Passing through a densely populated corridor between Zhengzhou and Xi’an, both large regional centres, and are home to some 100 million people.



It is a high-speed rail bridge crossing the Wei River twice. The bridge is 79,732 metres long and was completed in 2008.

Tianjin Grand Bridge: This bridge connects Langfang and Qingxian in China. It is a high-speed rail bridge and is located along the coast between Beijing and Shanghai.



Tianjin is the fourth largest city in China. The bridge is 113,700 metres long and was completed in 2010.

Cangde Grand Bridge: This bridge is a marvellous piece of Chinese engineering and is a part of the Beijing–Shanghai High-Speed Railway.



It can withstand earthquakes as it connects two major economic zones the Bohai Economic Rim and the Yangtze River Delta in the People’s Republic of China. The bridge is 115,900 metres long and was completed in 2010.

Changhua–Kaohsiung Bridge: This bridge is located in Taiwan and connects Baguashan in Changhua County to Zuoying in Kaohsiung.



It is a high-speed rail bridge and can withstand earthquakes and runs down the west coast of the island. The bridge is 157,317 metres long and was completed in 2004.

Changhua–Kaohsiung Bridge

Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge: This bridge connects Shanghai and Nanjing in the Jiangsu province of China. It spans over Yangtze River Delta, filled with low lying lands, canals and rivers.



High-speed rail bridge that runs parallel to Yangtze River and goes through well-populated regions of Danyang and Changzhou. The bridge is 164,800 metres long and was completed in 2010.
